Coronavirus Update 3/20/2020

Hi All!

Nothing new to report here at Traders Inn Beach Club. We are closely monitoring the news for updates.

We and our beach remain open.

Governor DeSantis is allowing the individual Counties to decide on whether their beaches will remain open or if they will close. At this time, we in Volusia County have not received orders to close our beaches from the Governor. Groups are limited to ten people with six feet of personal space around. Senator Rick Scott is asking people to stay off the beaches. Clearly at this point, it is a decision that remains at an individual’s discretion.

We are taking every measure possible and following CDC guidelines to minimize exposure and keep everyone safe. We have shut down the ice machine and suspended the Manager’s meeting, including coffee and donuts on Tuesdays. The employees are taking extra measures for sanitization of the property.

Please be respectful of the personal space of others – including the employees. Please also limit your time in the lobby.
